Don't Blame Indigo For Your Own Stupidity...This "Prank" Needs To Be Discusssed...

Some of you people are way too gullible and then when ya get burned you wanna blame someone else for your own stupidity...

This board is flooded with people who you know nothing about and yet you'll fall for a trick that has ***WARNING*** written in the post...From what I could tell about this Indigo persons prank is that red flags were being waived prior to y'alls curiousity and yet some of you still had to click on the link...

Who's the idiot?

The person who laid the trap and told you not to do something...

OR...

The "adult" on the other side of cyberspace who just had to click on the link and press "enter"...

If you recieve a strange e-mail from some unknown origin that contains an "exec. file" would you click on the file?

Are you people who got suckered into Indigo persons trick gonna start some organized campaign at this board to ban all posting of links?

Are you people who got burned really pissed at Indigo or are ya just taking out your own frustrations on Indigo for being stupid?

In a way, this prank may have opened the door for future "Indigo's" to include a virus link in their posts and what the hell can you people do about it...

I think this little stunt by Indigo has taught the entire board a valuble lesson when it comes to posting here...This board is so out of control and un-moderated as it is and now tack on the fear of having your computer fucked up for good simply by clicking on a link and the time has come for the board owners to get involved...

Believe it or not, and i've tried to warn this board numerous times only to be laughed at, but there are people out there in cyber-space who don't play nice...This prank by Indigo seems rather harmless compared to some of the "pranks" that i've heard about and know about where people use boards to turn other peoples computers into scrap metal...

If no permanent damage was done by Indigo's link then instead of raising a huge fuss about being stupid enough to click on the link try counting your lucky stars tonite that your stupidity will only result in a "minor inconvienience"...It could have been alot worse than pop up ads...

You must have talent. That is the only way you could make yourself so hopelessly irrelevant.

Or...

The moron who shows up hours later and still has the wrong facts!

KidRock & IndigoRose both have more Internet savvy in their little fingers than you bitter, naive farts will ever have.

They're right. You should be thanking them for not destroying you...which I'm sure they could.

There are a lot of self-important snobs on Lit.

The world extends beyond your genitals, Literoticans.

Lance, simmer down. I think you've been watching too many Godzilla films.

You might want to switch to decaf.

You're simply wrong in being so snide to people like them who know code is my point. One day it could bite us all in the ass. I like Lit. It's fun. But the snobbery is totally fucking lame.

*cue the blaring b-movie monster-destroying-city music (it's all the same, basically)*

ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!

*slowly walks in wearing a big, very detailed Godzilla outfit, and procedes to stamp as if in slow motion on a scale model of Tokyo filled with little people who have names of Literoticians written by them*

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

(it's Manu's day off, so i'm filling in. )

(Gordon Bennet, it's hot in this damn thing!!)

Does this mean I'm 'sposed to be afraid of a guy from Texas with a mullet and a '79 camaro and a girl who can't find a caps key but who can sling a pretty good flame?

I doubt it.

You must have missed it when he threatened to blackmail me a month or so ago. It was high comedy.

lol...you crack me up, assassin-boy.

Afraid? Hell, no.

But IR was right all along and stood her ground against a dozen of you.

KidRock knows more than you folks give him credit for, and at least he has the balls to stand up and say what he believes with a view to helping you, even though he knows you'll call him names in posts by the dozen.

In my book, that gets each of them some deserved and well-earned respect.

Now that's great. First we get a controversy on the board.
Now Alexander Haig's in here to take over like he did when Reagan was shot.

If KR knows it, half of this freaking board should be able to understand it. He's an idiot.

LMAO... one of the best lines I have seen so far. Very funny indeed.

Your book has really big print and uses the same words a lot doesn't it?

SEE LANCE.
SEE LANCE WHINE.
WHINE, LANCE, WHINE.

You haven't a clue about this stuff, Lav.

And you need to learn your law.

Cheap insults, admittedly you've got a minor talent for.

But you'll never earn a peso wth those.

Stick with the books, Lav. Really.

KidRock has been posting here for quite some time, and I don't believe I could characterize any of his posts as altruistic.

She didn't stand her ground against "me" because I was never involved in any argument with her.

KidRock is a burger-flippin' hillbilly. He's got two years of history behind him and it's all bad. You should research that a little before you take him on the next Y-Indian guides campout to rub nutsacks in your sleeping bag with him.

Or maybe you don't care who you buddy up with. Makes no difference to me.

I'm not saying he's Ghandi.

I'm saying his points to start this thread are sound.

IR's little prank was just that, a little prank.

The reaction here was grossly out of whack.

And lots was said about IR that was wrong.

Considering I will never be practicing law as you know it, it really doesn't matter.

I still think you should keep reading.
