Done

First of all, I'm sorry about the OP's news. I wish him the best.

Second, a good rule of thumb that, if followed, would have eliminated all the rancor in this thread is: don't assume the worst. Don't interpret another person's posts in a way that assumes that person is being unreasonable, dumb, or having a bad motive. That goes for assumptions about the OP's post but also for assumptions made about the posts responding to his post. When I saw the post I also didn't automatically understand the OP's intent. I think it's an understandable mistake, but I also think it's better not to give quick dismissive answers to questions; we should assume they're genuine until proven otherwise.

Okay. I'm not in the habit of checking everyone's bio; I'm of the opinion that posts here should be self-explanatory, but obviously others don't share that. I don't know the OP and I'm not privy to their struggles. In light of that, the opening post is hardly all that helpful.

I can't help. Good luck, OP.
It's a good idea to check profiles when people make claims about themselves. Of course, how does one know that their bios are true? The story stats at least are accurate.

Dude... OP is literally dying. His opening post clearly states that he no longer has the strength to continue but would still like to see his final story finished.

How dense can you be? Just check his bio if his opening post wasn't clear enough for you. Christ's sake...
By the time I got to this thread, the OP was one word, "done." Nothing much to infer from that.

It was brief and a little cryptic, asking if anyone would finish up his 22k word incest story because the OP just couldn't continue.

Honestly, it read to me like a fairly typically dramatic "put a fork in me I've lost my motivation" post, which is why I was puzzled by some of the responses. Afterward, I did look up the dude's bio, where he said he had a terminal diagnosis.

I feel badly for the OP, but many of us were confused by the meaning of his opener. I think almost everyone had decent intentions, from what I could tell, but the various misinterpretations led to some spicy posts.

Thanks. Yeah, I think those who objected to those who tried to help from the getgo need to dial it back.
