There is NO other way to truly learn than by experimenting. Just relax, treat your partner with respect, and learn what feels good and what doesn't. It is different for every couple and just like vanilla sex, you will get a feel for what works best for you and your partner.

You could try looking it up on the Internet...if you find out there you are a sub, you know it is true!

I am assuming you meant to ask about whether you are sub or Dominant as opposed to types of bondage, but if I misinterpreted, don't be afraid to say so. If there is no clear way screaming from your soul it does make it more difficult to decide, but as YinandYang says, the journey is the best part and for most it never ends. It may be you can enjoy both subbing and dominating, it may be you start as one and move onto the opposite role...it is about experimenting for many to find what it is that makes sparks for you. Perhaps reading some of the stories in the BDSM section will help.....you will generally feel a definate interest if you are inclined only one way and it is a story which appeals to your particular kinks and/or tastes.
