ROFL....I'd offer to keep my legs crossed too....but there's no guarantee they'll stay that way long enough :D

There's chicken pox going round her school but she's had that already....apart from the temperature she's not complaining of anything else being wrong though...baffling....

*Grins* well I may have to uncross my legs for a while

Yeah, we've got a bout of that down here too..... can't remember if my boy's had it or not, I know both my girls have.
She could well be fighting it off, some do.

Neither had I until my first daughter got it.....she had about 20 spots, I was plastered from head to foot and couldn't leave the house for 3 weeks because I frightened the local kids....

LOL I figure that is something I don't need at 36. I was pretty lucky that I never got them when daughter got them, but I kept my distance from her. Her dad dealt with her mostly.

Yup....I was late 20's when I got 'em....her dad wouldn't go anywhere near for fear of getting shingles....even when the doctor told him there wasn't a chance as it was a different virus

Lol... your Dr lied.... shingles happens because the chickenpox virus buries itself deep in the body once you've had it and then comes out later when the body is stressed/exhausted and manifests as shingles.... my middle one had chicken pox at age 1 and shingles at age 5..... DR said it was due to being worn out starting school

Well, I suppose he was right in that he couldn't get shingles from the kids having chicken pox...didn't help me in looking after the kids though

Yup... typical man lmao.... oh noooooo sickness....run away, run away !!!!

Apparently the virus buries itself in the nerves..... usually stays dormant and doesn't bother most people.
