I understand. Some of the herbal ones are nice.

One thing I cannot do is drink tea without sweetener. I know some do, and I can and do drink coffee black often, but I just cannot hack tea without sweetener.

Have to really watch fruit juices, too much sugar, whether added or natural. Like the doc says, sugar is sugar.

I stick to coffee and fruit juices, much kinder to my stomach, herbal teas are tasty too if you get the right ones.

Yup but fructose is much healthier than any of that manufactured stuff and is really the only extra sweetness I get

yep I agree..... I do not like many eyes on me.... especially public eyes....

and I always take Comp time.

Music definitely..... they recently did a study with alzheimers (sp) patients and found that regular music/singing therapy improved the condition slightly and even those who could remember very little still recalled lyrics to songs they knew from many years back.

I lost my sense of smell about 18 years ago, life smells of nothing, shame...... I can still remember how good xmas smelled tho'

Apparently singing out loud, either badly or in tune is good for all, so next time you feel an urge to let rip with your favourite song..... do it !!! Just may help you live a longer happier life !
