Trifles?? Easy Peasy ain't they?? some sponge or swiis roll in the bottom, some fruit on top and some jelly (Jello to you colonial types) Made with half hot water and then some nice alcoholic coolant to help it set quicker and then custard on top, when this is set a good layer of cream and then some 'undreds and fousands!!

Job Done!! LOL

Oh btw, IF you have any alcohol left in the bottle after the cooling step, it's compusory to consume it within the hour ok??
