Does it frustrate you too, that many Litt'ers don't complete (fill-out) their profile.... em'mm not talking about posting a picture.... just the information.

You receive a nice or sexy comment on a thread....or a PM. check their profile...and nothing..

just a thought..

Not really. Some people don't really want to share all that information, or really care. It's not particularly a big deal.

Frustrate is a big word, but a little bit of information goes a long way

I find it weird that in some cases you can't even figure out what gender they are.

I agree that it is nice to see at least a bit of info. But profiles don't really tell us who anyone is, they tell us who that person wants us to think they are.

As Kudram123 points out, gender is good if it is not apparent through postings.

The other side of this of course are the profiles that read like autobiographies, that seem overflowing with way too much info. Even assuming it's all true, I'm not sure if that really gives you much of a clearer picture of the poster.

I think people reveal more of themselves, and their personality and what they're like through their postings.

I accept it for what it is. Some people will tell you some stuff, but I don't really know if it is true or not. Other people want to stay anonymous.

Yea, I go look at profiles to learn more about a person. And I appreciate when people do provide details. But the absence of details also tells you something about the person. What they have posted, and where they have posted also says a lot about the person.

Question: Why are you able to see Yahoo IDs on some people's profile? That option doesn't seem to exist on mine. WTF?
