Does Chyoo Have Scissors?

I'm working on a story thread.
Not so much that I expect anyone to actually join it, but rather to try to familiarize myself with the "nuts-and-bolts" of Cyhoo.

I accidentally put in a link.
Is there anyway to cut it?

Also, is there anyway to delete a post?

Give this a try...

I have not tried this but I think it will work. If you report the thread using the report thread link at the bottom right of the screen a mod can delete it for you. Just explain why in the thread you want killed. You will have to add the thread again once it is deleted, but you can get rid of the link that way.

Sorry about this post's title, but I couldn't resist with the Avatar you are using.

I'm going to actually take a break from the computer for a couple of hours, but when I get back I'll copy & paste the posts involving the links to Word and then try what you suggest.

Like I said, I want to know how to drive this thing before I actually take it out in traffic with others.

While I'm asking Newbie questions (or "Virgin". I love that label!)*, how does one display a Avatar here?

I got the adding picture worked out although I'm not using one yet, but can't unravel the Avatar thingy.

*Funny thing about that label "Virgin".
When you have it, you are ashamed of it.

The best way to delete a link is to report the parent to the link (use the Report Thread link at the bottom of the page) and state the title of the link to be deleted. A moderator can delete a link from the List Threads link on the Moderator Story List.

After you post a certain number of posts (200 I think) you get the right to have an avatar.

I was lazy and just kind of picked one way back when. I have to say it has grown on me and now I like and don't want to change.

I Copied & Pasted from Word back into Chyoo2 (God Bless Bill Gates for C&P) and everything is the way I want it.
