Do you search adult personals, are you listed there?

I am wondering about the number of people who search adult personal ad sites, and then actually respond to an ad. Likewise, if you advertise on one, how are the responses you are getting? Do they really work? I am from a small town where the entire population in a 25 mile radius is 200,000 people. It seems that only 10-30 women are listed on sites such as adult friendfinder, but when i searched for guys, there were 100's. What works in your experience, and what doesn't. Thank you for your replies and insight. PS: I'm a married male who is in a sexless marriage, and at times am so pent up with sexual tension and emotions i think I'm gonna explode, so I gotta try something different.

I'm listed in both AdultFriendFinder and BlackPlanet. To be quite honest, I rarely go to any of those sites. However, I've had more success with BlackPlanet than I have with AdultFriendFinder.

I have never put an ad in,but I have made many friends in the personal section.

I have responded to only 2 ads.

The first one had so many requirements,like I couldnt ride a motorcycle nor have a big nose. That really sucked.

Thank goodness the second one worked out.

We've tried Adult Friend Finder and an MSN based personal ads site. To be honest, we haven't had a lot of luck with either. When we placed ads, we specifically asked for females or couples and no single men. It used to piss me off that all we got was men in the area for a day or two looking for a quick fuck. We're also in a very small area, population of about 100,000 in a much larger geographical area.

We have met a couple from here that we're planning to meet in the near future. All from a harmless thread

I tried the free thing at Adult Friend Finder but you can't initiate contact with anyone with the free stuff.You need to become one of those lame Silver/Gold members.

And I don't have a credit card...if I had one I'd be buried under a mountain of debt before I could say "Help! I'm being buried under a mountain of debt!"

I once placed an ad in AdultFriendFinder but my reason for placing the ad was simply so I could go in and browse. Someone told me they saw an "ex" of mine in there so I wanted to see for myself !!!

Well needless to say ... I filled out the ad but I just wrote down silly answers & I got over 100's of replies. I read the ones I could & then deleted the rest of them ... I did answer one of the emails and now we are good friends. So I got a new friend.
