With me, it's the opposite. I never read lesbian stories, I don't like FMF-stories, but I often read Gay Male stories or look at gay male porn. More men, better looking men than in straight films, and no women flapping their labias in front of the camera.
I wonder if I'm a gay man trapped inside a straight woman's body?

I think the reason is that gay men probably spend more time on sites geared specifically toward their tastes. As far as I can tell, Lit caters more to a female demographic (stories, lack of pictures).
This is old news. You're not full of shit; it's the truth. Just one of those double standards that will always exist. I don't consider myself a homophobe; I just don't think two guys getting it on is very sexy.
The idea of two women isn't any more exciting than a woman with a man. I just like women and get turned on by them no matter who they're doing it with.

I agree. I think very few gay men read here at Lit. I post a gay story and at least 95% of the feedback generated from this site has been from women. This, as opposed to the other sites I post at (which are target primarily at a gay readership) where it runs about 70-80% male.
The reason I've been given by my gay friends is that there are a ton of sites that cater almost exclusively to gay men and they'd rather go there where the stories are broken up into categories like Lit does with straight work. It just makes it easier to find what you want.

If anybody out there has read my stuff, they know that the *idea* of two men playing together doesn't necessarily turn me off, but usually in a context where there are women present and taking part. So, I guess I find the bisexual thing okay, but I'm really picky about the actual full-out gay stuff.

I had a request from a straight? man who wanted me to write a story for him about a "straight" married guy who gets discovered by his wife while being raped by two men and enjoying it.
As a "straight" guy too, I enjoyed writing it. It's not that far from some of my male sub stories. Except I could write about buggering and "symmetrical 69" instead of face-sitting, strap-ons and tit smothering. Also golden showers are easier to write.

While I have no interest in reading about one male plowing another's back 40, it doesn't offend me. However, decriptions of males kissing each other on the mouth are enough to put me off my lunch.

Okay, so let me get this thread back in line. Do I really like women? Well, what's not to like? They grow their hair in the right places, and shave off what isn't required if it will get them what they want, or need at the moment. Okay, to be truthful now, I love women. I love the way they anylize everything, break it down, read between the lines, guage body language against the words that came out. I love how, for the most part, it is in their nature to give of themselves. I love how they smell, and how they smell everything as if tasting the air will tell them some secret. I love how they feel, and how their feelings are a big part of their discision making. In fact I've never met a woman that I didn't like right up to and including that moment before she opened her mouth to incinerate every one of my delusions of her.

Actually, I thought there were more gay men posting on this site, too. But, a thread I posted on the BDSM forum (see link below) has not received much interest either way.
I started the thread because of a situation that happened in my local area. Not only did I think it would be of interest to gays, but to all BDSM lifestyle people, hence the thread is on that forum.
But, it got very little response, and only a few nice people commented on it. So, I gathered it was my DVS on the thread that people didn't like.
Now, I am wondering if it was the lack of gays, and also the lack of interest in gay interests being the cause.

But, I go along with whoever said men seem to be a little homophobic. I have friends who are gay and associate with them on the friendship level, only.
When it comes to two men in a sexual situation, I may sometimes watch, but never participate. Nothing wrong with their desires, I just don't desire that way. But, when the situation involves two women (or better yet, two women and ME!), I am there!
To be more succinct, I couldn't perform with another man in a sexual relationship. So, a MFM situation involving me is totally out of the question. Am I subconsciously selfish?
