Do you believe in.......

I'm in the midst of questioning my own beliefs and wondered just what most of the people here may or may not believe. Most of you will probably laugh about this but I really want to know. Can reincarnation be happening? Do ghosts exist? I hear so much and read so many differing views that I'm just not sure about anything anymore. Please, what do you think?

I think so. Be patient though - it's a bit quiet there today.

Believe in ghosts? In a way. I believe that some people or circumstances can produce such an energy that they leave an impression behind. Sort of like staring at a picture until you see an after image when you close your eyes.

Believe in poltergiests? I've been 'haunted' by poltergiest like activity since I was about 8 or 9. Never much and never seen to happen but things disappear and then return in a day or two. Always sitting in an open place where they can't be missed.

Believe in evil? Without a doubt.

Believe in reincarnation? This is where I'm beginning to question. I keep having really vivid dreams. I've looked up details where I can and have found amazing things. Writing that I have no idea what they were only to copy my memories and then through reasearch find out that its a real language but that it hasn't been used in thousands of years by a people that no longer exist. Or places that turn out to be real places. It's very frightning.

Believe in God? I have many questions there. I believe that there is something there, I'm just not sure what.

Are you questioning your faith?

I have done that many times... How could so much bad happen in this world and the God I believe in lets it happen?

I was told once that we need these things to happen to strengthen our faiths... kind of like a forest needs a wild fire to clean out the underbrush.

Funny thing is I still question it some times.

I do believe in reincarnation, there was a pretty good movie out I think the name was "fighting for your life" it was real good. About a man who dies and goes through a trial about his life to see if he should go to heaven or be sent back to earth to start over again.

I will see if I can find the title of the movie for you.

Reincarnation - Yes......I sometimes get feelings of deja vu. Plus I had an experience of meeting someone who I was sure had been a special love of mine in a previous life. When I looked into his eyes I felt like I "knew" him. We were lovers in this life too, but only for a short time - maybe in our next lives we will get to spend much longer together........

I believe in a "Higher Power", as I'm sure almost everyone does. That does not mean God. It means I believe there is something out there bigger/wiser than us. I was raised to believe in God, and I do. I don't attend church. I don't need to go to church to prove anything...he knows i believe.
Another thing that bothers me...is when ppl FEAR God. I just dunt follow that philosophy. I RESPECT him.
Yes to reincarnation. I believe we come back again and again to find the ultimate GOOD.
The others...I dunno. I tend to not acknowledge the traditional beliefs in ghosts...maybe cuz they scare the beegeebers outta me. And, if they were real, I'd hafta be more scared. lol

for Wpb72....Let us not forget that God gave us free will therefore the bad things that happen in this world come from that in order to see if we will follow His word or not. What's a measly eighty or so years of some good and some bad compared to an eternity of perfection in Heaven? (for those that believe in Heaven)


Of course I also believe in the aliens that genetically modified our dna and planted us here hahahahaha ok ok so that was a bad joke sorry.

Food for thought about God and defending your life.

He knows why we do everything that we do, from the mental reasons we can't control to the vain reasons we can control. Personally I believe He will take everything that has affected us and made us who we are into account which in turn is likely to wipe out a ton of sin.

There are still things in my life that I'm ashamed of. Times I could have fought to right a wrong and did nothing. Times I should have fought to stop something I knew was bad and didn't. Times I should have been willing to give all to stop a evil and couldn't. Times I was weak and someone else suffered. My life shames me and I doubt if I ever redeemed myself in my own eyes.

kikmosa, I truly understand what you're saying, been there done that got the damn t-shirt too. Not one-hundred percent sure if I am correct but I think the Bible says something along the lines of "Can you count the stars in the sky, can you make the winds do your bidding, can you make the heavens turn, who are you to judge what men do?" Only God, or if you prefer a higher being, has the ability to truly know our hearts and minds and He is the only judge we need to worry about.

The big thing is, have you changed? You have obviously admitted what you felt you did was wrong, and you seem to regret it, and that's the first step to forgiveness. People seem to forget that it takes us years to become who we are and so it may take years more to change into who we feel we need to be. We aren't perfect, and while we can procreate, we can't make a perfect being from dust so then how dare we judge what God has allowed to be made?

Take it easy on yourself if you feel guilty about things in the past try to change them...notice I said TRY. That's what we are here for, to be fruitful and multiply, and to love others as we want to be loved.
