I think some do and some don't.
Like what has been said above there is a double standard between men and women. I think many women who were very active would be reluctant to tell their BF or spouse. It could cause problems and/or lead to so many questions.
My husband, for the most part, didn't want to know. he knew I wasn't a virgin when he married me. Also, like Emma said, do you just count PIV or do you count BJ's, etc. My PIV count was low but I gave a lot of BJ's, especially in college.

I only count PIV when considering how many men my wife has been with. However, I don't think she did less stuff with men without ending up having sex with them. Of course, that is after giving up her virginity.
