This one is especially for the ladies, cuz some guys just don't understand. I just got a new hair cut today, and is it me, or is a new doo just the thing to boost a girls spirits? maybe a guys too?

I love did, it makes you feel special...unless you get a crappy hair cut, but that's not the point. I think it's something to do with the fact that someone is focousing only on you and making you look good.....always a good thing

I've been taught that hair is power; a witch can braid a charm into her hair, unbinding as she loosens the braid.

I think that a complete change of hairstyle reflects an equally profound change in our selves.

Anyway, barring a really bad haircut, it always feels good to have a new look.

I think that it is the nurturing you recieve and the positive energies around you. You are taking an active step towards pampering yourself the wonderful feel of someone massaging your head. The primping and fussing and all the positive converstation. A chance to say whatever you like to someone rather like the BB. A chance to sit and in a way meditate as someone else steers so to speak for a while... In my humble opinion

I think that's a part of it too. I enjoy a good day at the hair salon. It puts a little bounce in my step, especially when the cut or style is something totally new, and brings out a natural beauty a person didn't even know they had.

Well, the only time I do anything different with my hair is out of spite or from a dare. But I agree that it's a good feeling when you walk out of the salon feeling better about yourself.
Now I'm sitting here looking at the long, black strands of hair sprouting from my head and thinking "Hey, this looks pretty good, maybe I should get my heart broken more often" lmao

Oh, absolutely! I love pedicures and massages... My favorite part of a haircut is having my hair washed. <sigh>
