No, not at all, I think we are talking about transforming one's state of mind. It could happen in the military, or in a cult, or through self hypnosis or to a kidnapping victim, or through meditation, or therapy. It could be seen as positive or negative, depending on the circumstances.

even under the most heinous of conditions, with the most deplorable of betrayals and abuses to spirit, they will never leave. not with all doors wide open and a squad car waiting outside. they will never leave because they have been internally conditioned to slavery. and at that point, nothing else is an option.

Is there anyone here who would describe the conditions of their life as living "under the most heinous of conditions?"

Anyone who would say that they are currently suffering, with their existing partner, "the most deplorable of betrayals and abuses to spirit?"

I'm not asking about what you (general, entire board "you") think or imagine you would do, if, when, maybe. I'm asking about the way you perceive the conditions of your relationship, right now.
