Do imperfections really matter?

I'm as guilty as the next person in finding grey hair and wrinkles 'distinguished' in a man, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't feel the same if it was me

You would be wrong.

Obviously, I can't speak for all men, but the heart of a beautiful, sexy woman lies in her self confidence. Age has a way of humbling us all, take it in stride, with grace and style, and your inner radiance will be all anyone sees. Cowering behind hair dye and make-up layered on with a trowel to "disguise" that you're not 23 anymore is not appealing to anyone. :rose:

I suppose it depends on the man. I have found it ironic when some men who are perhaps not the perfect specimens of honed and toned manhood criticise the appearance of women.

Ironic, maybe, asshat, most definitely! LOL

To say I've got 6-pack abs would be ridiculous, you don't get abs like this with 6-packs, it takes kegs! ;):D

It isn't just women, but perhaps there are more things a woman could develop concerns about.

No one ever notices us as critically as we notice ourselves.

I have a neighbor, he is a little younger than his wife, who is a bit younger than I. She has a very lovely face. I found it interesting that he said to me one time when expressing his infatuation with her "I love everything about her, she has such a pretty face, I love her body, and then went on to express some character traits..."

The thing is, objectively speaking she is probably a little body-conscious...and he specifically likes it the way it is over other possibilities.

Thats true and sometimes things i want different the guy prefers...

Us red-heads dont tan so good but I love a tan especially on my legs...i just think they look a lot better that way.

I was with a guy for a while that prefered my skin in the winter when I am very pale.

As I have aged, I think less an less about things I used to think of as imperfections.
