do girls still like roses?

Roses aren't exactly known for their IQ ...

But, I do prefer gifts with a longer life-span ... a book is good

They smell good and look nice but they don't last long. Hey! Kinda like my boyfriends!:rose:

I'm a potted plant girl, but some Roses are very sexy...

Hi Rose. :D

I've got your ficus right here...

Miss you, kitty mama.

Miss you too, lady. But my aim is improving.

(Cheap joke, but it's a cheap kinda night.)

i think theyre dumb.

Roses are nice, but to quote Marilyn Monroe, "Diamonds are a girl's best friend".

Actually in all seriousness girls prefer above all else just to know they are wanted, and all that takes is a few words, maybe a stroke of the cheek, or a kiss. All those are infinitely more precious than diamonds or roses!

Girls like it when guys blow a large amount of money on something that won't last very long; it makes them feel more secure.

Ten points to anyone who get's that...

sometimes im lacking when it comes to being specific.. i know all these things.. i know girls like flowers.. but roses? dumb. i like other flowers, if im gonna buy them. usually a reacharound will work though. hear that? reacharound. yeah..

Nothing says 'love' like a good reacharound.

Did you just work 'reacharound' into this query? How did you do that? LoL!

I don't know the technical name for them, but I'm partial to spider lilies. When I was a little girl they were my faery wands.

For our wedding anniv. last year my husband got me th emost thoughtful flower arrangement i've ever heard of. My favorite flower is the purple iris and his is white carnations. His arrangement had 2 irises (for our 2 years together) surrounded by a lot of carnations. That was the only thoughtful thing I think he's ever done!

I love roses. But, I also love other flowers, too. Tulips, daisies, etc. in an arrangement can be beautiful, too. In the end though, it is the thought that counts, not the actual gift. Wanting to please the person is the most important part of the gift.

Roses are okay...but they do die so quick. I don't like red ones. Borrrrrring!! Yellow roses are my favorite.
