Just checked out the Top Lists for poetry. Very cool to see the variety. There are a lot folks writing it. Even if we don't put a great emphasis on ratings, it is a good feeling to be acknowledged. The List increases visibility and that could translate into more reads. We write and share our work in hopes that someone gets some pleasure from it.
There are plenty of new members who aren't getting enough votes to hit the List.
How about a member drive to help your peers shine? Make a point to vote for at least one newbie whose work you enjoy.
Afterall, who doesn't like the 10 seconds of fame?
Kept in perspective, this could be a good time for all.
