I just discovered @Tx Tall Tales' Football Bet FTW! What a delightful read. It was published fourteen years ago for the Halloween contest, and I'd never have known about it if @Fran_cd hadn't left me a comment on one of my stories. On a whim, I checked out their favorites and viola, a 'hidden' gem.

There are lots of threads about how we look for stories, I thought I'd start another and call out a great story from a very good author at the same time I thank one of my readers for their compliment..

You can follow suit if you'd like. To quote a much better know Austin icon than I'll ever be, "It's be a lot cooler if you did." - Matthew Mcconaughey, Dazed and Confused.

I'm compiling a list of these in the Lesbian category called Rarely Read Gems:

It's somewhat abitrary: clearly some have been read a lot (70k times in one case... though the story in question is from 2005) but, in my view, nowhere near as much as they merit, especially when compared to other stories published around the same time.
