Sid, I hear you. I took all that crap too. It *was* hard, and frustrating. I ended up getting a tutor outside of my teacher - one who explained the lessons in English that I could actually understand. Once I had a person explain it to me in a way the book didn't, I was saved. Math made sense. You might want to try that.

Good luck.

i have a tutor...he has a thick russian accent, interpreting him is almost as difficult as interpreting the book. *giggling* and my prof is from...well...the way he talks...reminds me of father guido sarducci....i have bought supplemental texts and have an interactive software program, lol
thank goodness i only have multivariable calc left
i can't believe i will have 30 credit hours in math

Get another tutor. I'm not kidding. My professor was from Egypt, and I couldn't understand him well at all. When I asked him to repeat himself, he took it as a criticism ("You are testing me!!" he would say). *sigh*

His TA was from Boston, and I could understand him. *grin*

I had no problem with math of any kind until I hit Calculus III. That shit messed with me.
