What a pity that you could be submitted to everlasting torment because of something you didn't do.

For a minute there, I thought you knew my ex wife!:p

"Sorry, honest, but they made me do it" for my death bed.

Yes but better than being unfairly sent for something you did do.

You know that whole crime fitting the punishment thang.

I mean if it was based on something you did, Just think of all the lawyers arguing over the severity of punishment, what actually happened wheter what you did really deserved that type of treatment.

It would be the OJ/Clinton/Gates trials all over again.

How lucky for me that I don't believe in Hell... or that death is eternal. Guess I'm safe from eternal damnation...

There's nothing I can do to get sent to hell???

Can I keep trying anyway?? It's SO much fun!!!!! :D ;)

I knew that...

but only cause I am Catholic...gotta love those "and forgive me for anything I may have forgotten" confessions ;)

I'm a Catholic and I have never understood how this line of thinking goes. If you follow this line of thinking, you could kill everyone on the planet, and as long as you pray for forgiveness you won't go to hell. Just seems kind of wrong to me...

Not true...if you accept Jesus and continue to live your life in such a dishonorable way then one would have to question your devotion and sincerity. If you believe that Jesus died for you then your conscience will not allow you to continue on this way... that does not mean you will never sin...we all are sinners by human nature alone , it just means it is in your face when you do and you WILL want to repent....quickly.

whoa, for a minute there i thought i'd forgotten that i'd posted something

hi sigh...

i'm sigh

If death row inmates can repent just before they're executed and then proceed to heaven, I'm not so sure I want to go there.

Ok, point taken Sigh... I would carry this conversation on longer, but since I am not an extrememly religious person (non-practicing Catholic) I know that my knowledge in these types of things is fairly limited. Therefore, I will leave the issue where it lies.

That is the beauty of Grace...I would hate to think that my sins would never be forgiven. And where should death row inmates go?....Hell?.....so there is a Hell? who else would go to Hell? Are my sins worse than theirs? Who judges degrees of sin?

There is only one way to get to hell......Do nothing.

No, I do not cherish the thought of spending my eternity with child molesters and murderers but It is not up to me to judge others only to forgive (the repentive ones) and pray for those who do not walk in the light.

If what I believe is wrong...no harm done. If what you believe is wrong.....there is going to be hell to pay.

For many

Hell is right here on earth. mever mind having to wait.

This is not entirely true. I understand that one's soul is sent to hell if they take their own life.
