Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but did we, or did we not just have a thread on the board about white people being a minority in the USA very soon, filled with a load of gibberish about how the master race must rise up and overcome?

Where'd it go? We don't have moderators on this board.

I disapprove of this removal actually. The whole point of free speech is that the lunatics can have their say too. The advantage is that you can systematically rip their arguments apart and make them an item of ridicule.

We're intelligent enough to debate things, rather than just have to remove them.

Well, are we free speech, or not?

If we are, then we can deal with idiots with words, rather than just removal. Amicus believes we're all as wrong about some subjects as we do this guy, but he continues to debate.

Granted, he's not very good at it, but he still talks.

These people don't talk and don't know the word discuss except as in disgusting... they think it's one and the same...

Their response is to burn houses, churches and to mug and murder... I've had upclose and personal relations with them.... take my word for it... it ain't fun, no way shape or form....

I've debated with similar on the GB before. Granted, it wasn't the most logical discussion I've ever participated in, but it was a demonstration of both of our rights to free speech.

This is the internet - the best place to debunk ridiculous theories and create new ones all of our own.

This is a private site. Sure, there's a lot of people here on Lit, but it's under Laurel and Manu's control. They can boot pretty much anything they want, just as they don't accept bestiality stories or one with people under 18.

I use the bar analogy. Anyone can come into a bar I own. As long as they are polite and abide by my rules. If the jackass behind these 'White Power' threads came into my bar and abided by my rules, I'd have no problem with him. If he started a rant like he did in those threads, out the door he goes.

And then I'd have to replace the door because I wouldn't open it first. It would be worth it.

The AH doesn't have moderators (neither does the GB), but it does have Administrators and threads are removed by them on occasion (if I recall correctly, Moderators technically can't delete threads anyway), as people have suggested.

In the case of the aforementioned thread, it was actually probably removed for being spam, since there have been quite a few threads of that sort by that person/those people posted on every board, and I don't think it was really intended to provoke a discussion, as a certain friend might.
