It takes a great deal of time and effort to edit a story. Most of us refuse to make that type of editorial commitment, especially for someone we don't know personally.
I don't know what else may have happened between you and Lauren, but now it just seems as if you're having a major tantrum because she didn't get to your story fast enough with her donated time and effort.
