Now though, I am a bit confused. Was the thread starter mad at getting low votes or for people actually voting low?
I have and will continue to vote low if the story/poem is that bad. If you do not want such low votes, dont have the voting on, period. There isnt any of that "If you dont like it, just dont do anything" crap. If you dont like it, then vote low.
I personally, dont care about votes. I forget about what I have written until I get feedback about it. I couldnt tell ya what points I have or whatever.
But you better not tell me that if I find any writing that I believe is written horribly, that I cannot vote low. Hopefully, it will make the writer put some more effort into the next story.
As far as cheating? Who cares? Laurel will remove any votes that shouldnt be there. If ya dont like it, then go elsewhere or start your own site. Laurel and Manu rule the roost.
