Did Haley just win the election?

The thing about Wallace was, the bigotry was all an opportunistic act. He was originally fairly progressive, at least by Deep South standards. But he lost his primary on his first run for governor in 1958, essentially because he wasn't racist enough, and he vowed to "never be out n****red again" and, well, he never was. After he was shot in 1972, he had a come-to-Jesus moment and basically spent the rest of his life apologizing for his racist past.

Was Wallace worse than Trump? I'd have to say yes, because I'm pretty sure Trump doesn't know any better. Wallace did.

What Wallace himself said about his actions was that merely doing what the people of Alabama elected him to do.. Which was true.. It is difficult to defend Wallace but did incite racism he only enforced the laws already on the books. I think for him it wasn't bigory it was a sense of duty that caused him to stand on the steps of the University of Alabama and proclaim, "Segregation today, Segregation tomorrow, Segregation forever."

I personally don't understand that degree of commitment to a cause because it is your perceived duty and I believe that type of thinking to be very dangerous. I think we both feel close to the same way about Wallace in this respect, I think if the law at the time had been equal housing, equal pay, equal job opportunities, equal schooling etc.. Wallace would have enforced those laws with as much vigor as he did the Jim Crow laws of the time. He was doing his job..

Trump on the other hand believes laws do not apply to him.. Trump is a Kim Jong Un want'a be..
 
For anyone who doesn't know, a couple of tiny towns in New Hampshire traditionally vote at midnight, and the votes are tallied publicly. This started because the towns in question were railroad stops where everyone in town had to be up for work when the night train came through, so they figured they might as well vote then too on election day.

For all that, I can't recall the last time even those tiny shares of the vote were unanimous in a contested election. And I doubt there's ever been a time they voted unanimously against the favored candidate!
 
Nikki's only hope is to turn the tide in her home state with a win in New Hampshire and that ain't going to happen. She's already won the Miss Romney-McCain contest and it's now the fringe minority. People are just sick and tired to death of being bullied by the hard Left. They're going to get rid of Biden, one way or another, but it's not going to be any better for The Replacement Killer, so expect a lot of abortion, abortion, abortion. Nikki is dead woman walking. Her only last best chance is to adopt that Prince song as her theme song and start a meme, Granny Spice Girl...

The election, as I said when it happened, was over when the Fat Man began whining.

Wtf is New Hampshire choosing for the nation? California should put into ITS Constitution that it has to have its primary on the same day! That way, New Hampshire comes in first and can report first.

Pelosi, wasn’t in charge of security, but she is in the chain of command. It was her order to seal the chamber. It was her that exonerated the murderer of Ashley Babbit.
Trump was genius switching the names. Haley has been pointing out how much a liberal she is ever since.

Your next task should you choose to accept it, is to explain why Ashley Babbitt was murdered although Breonna Taylor was not.
