To the dibbers,
I'm sorry i haven't been around lately. My class, work, homework, and club activity scheduals leave very little time for loafing about in my usual way. I also have been very worried about a loan, so have been in not the best mood even when i DO have the time.
For those of you that don't know, i owe the college i go to $1771 this year. My pre-existing loan did not cover the slack. I was offered a parent loan, but my father cannot afford to take one out. This left me with banks. There are a few lending institutions that work with my college, so i am currently working with them.
the first one i went to i spent two or three days filling out the application for. I needed to get my dad's SSN and driver's lisence number, and i needed to talk to my aunt about being a reference for me. Two-thirds of the way through the application it asked me for my monthly income. I typed in $480, and a window popped up that said that all loans requested by people who made less than $1500/month would be automatically turned down.
if i was making that much, i wouldn't NEED the loan...
So i started filling out another application to another institution. this one wants me to sign a master promisorry(sp) note. My printer is out of black ink, and because of a paperwork foul-up caused me to not get paid on the appropriate day, i was, and still am, too poor to go buy a new cartridge. So i clicked the button that said to mail it to me.
I got a letter in the mail that same day that said that if i don't pay the school their money by the 24th, the are going to kick me out.
i still haven't received the MPN, and even if it comes tomorrow, which i doubt because the mail system at school is so inane, there won't be enough time for it to get back to them before the deadline, Thursday.
i plan to go and talk to them tomorrow, but even so...i'm a little stressed.
i hope to return to my usual troubador self soon, but until then, i cannot garuntee how often i will be posting here, or on any of the other threads. i try to do one or two a day, but that leaves many many threads unanswered.
