DGO's New Unthread!

Wow, that looks like a fun event. Lots of music - and beer too! Wish I could go, but I have a prior commitment. Have fun!

I hope the weather clears up! It's just not warm enough to be walking in the rain.

Right now my right ham string is misbehaving. I know it would feel better if I would get up and move around but I just don't feel like it.

aw thats a Bummer:( hope there are some good Days in between the bad ones for you;) :rose:

There are! What pisses me off is that if I get up and move around I feel better, but it's hard to motivate myself to get moving. I walked around the apartment for about 10 minutes this morning before having a bowl of cereal. Then I walked another 10 minutes. Huge difference in the pain.

I bragged about you to one of my Korean war Vets today. :rose:
He worked with kids & he also has many who he keeps in touch with like you do.
You are both such special people to take the time to care and mold kids into the people they are today.

Why thank you! My first students are planning a reunion at their old grade school! The good thing is that the current principal is the cousin of one my students. There are teachers that I know that don't want to hear anything about their former students! That makes me wonder what kind of a person they are. Fortunately more of them are interested in their kids.

A yuppie business woman in town for an important meeting, checked into her room at the swank hotel and unpacked her bags. Noticing that her favorite suit had been badly wrinkled during the flight, she phoned the front desk and asked to have the hotel's valet service pick up the suit for pressing.

Almost immediately after she hung up the phone, a knock sounded at the door and there stood an elderly Chinaman.

Impressed by the speedy service, the career woman exclaimed, "My, you come lickety-split!"

"No ma'am," replied the old Chinaman, "I come get laundry."
