This is a true story!
The district held workshops for the Communication Arts teachers. The presenter would have bored sloth bears to death. I tried to behave myself as I always do, not because the CA supervisor was present. We were doing this activity using Zodiac signs. When it was my turn, I said, "I'm a recycled virgin. It's been so long that it hurts." Well everyone in the small group laughed. I mean laughed out loud for a long time. The presenter asked why we were laughing. She then asked me to repeat what I'd said. I told her it was not something to share. People wanted to hear so I repeated myself. The poor presenter was embarrassed beyond belief and called for a break. I learned a lot from that workshop that would help me when I became a presenter. NEVER, ever ask someone to share something if you didn't hear it.

Rams got clobbered by the 49ers last night. I bet a lot of folks in St. Louis are happy about that. Same ol' Rams.

I was never a Rams fan. I made a fair amount of change betting against them in the pools. Yes, there are folks on both sides of the fence; those that are happy they're gone and those that miss them. I think we'd be really sorry if they win it all this year.

No, I didn't go either. I have arthritis in both knees and my back and that makes standing and walking a problem sometimes. I have a walker with a seat, but as I've gotten older, I tend to avoid outdoor events.
Tomorrow I'll probably go here......
