I was in a very bad and dark place the early and middle part of this week.

We had a work Christmas party on Wednesday and I was seriously considering just not going. But something told me to go anyway and do you know what? I had a great time and it was exactly what I needed. So a lot of people I hadn’t see in a while, vented a little bit, and just reestablished some connections.

And ate some good food and drank a free beer.

I was surprised and happy I went. I think it jumpstarted me to feeling a little bit better yesterday and today.

I also had a holiday luncheon yesterday and I also was thinking about not going. I didn’t bring a gift for the gift exchange…. Fuck it.

It was OK, but I met a few people and it was good to catch up with a few others.

I tend to be more of a people person…

I know I’m not out of the woods yet. The shortest day of the year is still two weeks away.

Morning. The procedure was a bust. The dr put in steroids and hopefully those will take effect soon.

Bummer. Sorry that wasn’t what you wanted…

I have spinal stenosis (lower back) and it’s painful. I’ve had steroid injection once and it really did help.

Wishing you less pain and maybe pain free.

It's been snowy and cold here, but I admit it puts me in the holiday spirit.

Work has picked back up and I'm tired, but it's good to be busy. Keeps me out of trouble.
