Very successful in his field, remained married to the same woman and seems to have been very involved in raising his kids. An American black man that relates to people of all backgrounds. Denzel Washington is a role model for me. Comments?

I've liked him as an actor since St. Elsewhere days. The fact that I don't know every intimate detail of his personal life only adds to respect for him. And to paraphrase Tim Meadows in an old old S.N.L. skit, "he's a goood looking black man."

Sounds like a good deal to me! He is extremely handsome, too, I think (no, I ain't gay).

Though I can understand identifying with the ethnicity, part of me says "Fuck the color." A good man is a good man regardless of the color.
