Demon: The Fallen

William departed, leaving Elise alone with her thoughts.

Several minutes passed in silence.

"Elise?" A voice called.

"Elise, are you okay?" It was Enumael's voice, only he was not there, in the room.

"I will be with you soon."

Elise looked up the instant she heard Enumaels voice. She looked around searching for the place where the concerned deep voice of Enumaels had come from.

"I will be with you soon."

Okay, so maybe she wasn't terribly courageous. She just nodded in response, assuming that he could see her actions.

Nearly an hour passed before Enumael entered the room. He rushed over and embraced Elise, appologising for all that had happened. "I should have taken better care... I knew better than to come back to this place. Can you ever fogive me?" Enumael asked as he drew back, holding her hands in his.

Elise hadn't been angry, not one bit. She probably should have been angry. After all, he had lied to her...but would she have even believed him had he told her she was a fallen angel. Most likely, not. In fact, she probably never would've spoken to him again.

Elise hugged him close again and then pulled away, "It was you..who cured my breast cancer..." she said softly, "Why?"

"I... I couldn't let you suffer... I had to. It was my gift to you. I asked you back here, because I was going to tell you what I am, only... Only those fools, they nearly destroyed everything. I would punish them, but you are more important, I must do my all to keep you safe. Do you understand?"

Elise smiled and nodded. "I'm glad I find out this way though...in a way, I guess. I mean, I probably would've walked out on you and told you you were a crazy old man or something..." She said with a timid smile. She didn't quite understand why she would need to be kept safe though.

"I don't understand though, why would i need to be kept safe? Do you think they are going to...kill me or something?"

"There is but one over arching rule amongst all the supernatural creatures of this world, and that is that mortals must not know of their existance. If they did, vampires, lycans, and all manner of other beings would find it much harder to exist. After all, what good is all our power when mortals outnumber us more than a billion to one?"

"True..." Elise said softly, then she looked back up at Enumael. "So, what exactly are your powers anyways?" She paused for a second and then smiled, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone...I doubt they'd believe me anyways." Her finger trailed up and down his tricep lightly.

Enumael smiled humbly. "Nothing can control our minds or bodies against our will, not even illusions can fool us. Though this body is mortal, the celestial spirit I bring to it makes it resistant to damage that would otherwise kill it. If anyone envokes my celestial name, I can hear them, no matter the distance. If I concentrate, I can sense the emanation of supernatural beings around me. These are the things that all my kind can do."

"There are also schools of a sort that we call lores, which allow us to do even greater things. I have chosen to learn the lore of Awakening, which allowed me to cleanse you of your cancer. The lore of Transfiguration, which I used to change my appearance into the man you desired most. And I must confess that I did use the lore of Longing to subtly effect your desires when we first met, only I want you to know that your will has always been your own, I have never made you do anything, I promise you that."

Elise nodded in understanding. She didn't really believe he had made her do anything against her will. Though she could recall their first meeting, how she felt compelled to flirt with him and not any other guy that had been sitting at the exact same bar.

"Why?" She asked, not really caring why he had done it...only she wanted to know why. "I mean..." Elise blushed, looking back down again. She should thankful that he had found her attractive enough to lure, in a sense...instead of good looking enough to impregnate and then kill her in the end.

"I mean, what did you find so...so fascinating about me?" She looked back up at Enumael with curious eyes.

"I could feel the emptiness in you, saw how you longed for something... More. Believe me when I say I know the feeling. I just couldn't leave you to your fate, or worse, allow a vampire to come along and make you his blood doll."

"Was there...." Elise asked, fear shooting through her bones. "I mean, was there a vampire who was after me that night?" The thought of being one's blood doll, scared her. Not that it had actually happened, but it still scared her. She tried not to let it show on her face though, trying to remain calm.

"If not that night, then some other night, the Deviant caters to such creatures after all, considering who owns it. Unfortunately, now the bastard thinks he owns us as well. It may become... Inconvenient, living under his thumb."

"Oh." Her lips formed an O as she said the word. She didn't really know what else to say, what else was there to know? She wasn't quite certain what to say now. Finally finding something else to ask, Elise said, "Wait, who is the deviant?"

Enumael laughed a bit over Elise's question. "Well, that Cervantes fellow could certainly fit the bill, but no, the bar is called the Deviant. Speaking of, be weary of him, he has the eyes of a predator. I noticed how he was looking at you in the office. He might try something."

"Um okay.." Elise said, knowing that the last thing she wanted was to have some werewolf after her. She gave a small yawn and smiled timidly at Enumael, "I'm getting pretty tired though...so..." her eyes shifted to the pilow, "I guess...um, I guess I'll take a nap" she stammered as she stood up to get ready for bed. She paused for a brief second, hoping that he'd stay with her.

Enumael smiled lovingly up at Elise as she stood. "Of course, you must be worn out after everything that has happened today." He said as he scooted up the bed and lifted the blankets for her to crawl in beside him.

Elise crawled up in the bed with Enumael, she hadn't really said his name before..except for when they first....her thoughts trailed off, she probably should've known there wasn't something right about him when he had requested that she call him that instead of Norman.

"So what now?" She whispered, as the feeling of sleepyness started to go away. She wasn't sleepy any longer. Strange.

Enumael spooned up against Elise feeling the softness of her body against his. Unconciously, he stimulated a rush of endorphines through her body as she snuggled close. As she whispered her question, he draped one arm over her side, to caress her belly. "What would you like to do?" He asked, nudging his hips in against her back, feeling the human urges of Norman's body start to take over.

Control, she told herself though she seemed to be losing it so quickly. She moaned softly, already knowing the answer before it passed her lips. "Take me again..." she said softly, biting her lip then moved around...to get comfortable she told herself but knew that wasn't the real reason.

"But, take me as...as you. The real you." she whispered.

Enumael drank in the passion of Elise's desire as she asked him to take her again. He was nearly sotted with it by the time she shifted in his arms to face him. Then she asked him to take her again in a breathy whisper. "...As you. The real you."

An empassioned breath caught in his throat at that, a hint of fear in his eyes. "What do you mean the real me? I will gladly stay in this form for you, if that is what you desire?" He asked as he lovingly caressed her, drawing her thigh up along his hip to feel her warmth more closely.

He knew what she meant, or rather feared he knew. In his discription of the powers he posessed, he had purposefully overlooked mentioning his appocolyptic form, partly for this very reason.

He didn't want to show her. That much was clear as he had quickly evaded her request. Elise bit her lip, slightly heart broken. She didn't want to push him, because obviously there was a reason he didn't want to show her or..maybe she was misinterpreting what he said.

Maybe he just...didn't want to scare her.

But honestly, how scared could she get? She was already in the arms of a demon and being held captive by a vampire and his minions so to speak.

She didn't answer his comment though, "Is there a reason you don't want to show me..." she whispered, lightly stroking his face.

Enumael felt the pain of her heart break, and it brought tears to his eyes. "I want to show you, but you see, if I were to make love to you in that way... It could lead to your death." He said, taking her hand in his and kissing the tips of her fingers as a tear rolled down his cheek.

"Oh..." Elise said breathlessly as he kissed her fingertips. It was to save her life...that made...sense. "Can I..at least see what you look like...in your real form?" She whispered, curiousity taking over the desire that rushed through her body.

"I just...want to see you so that maybe I could picture...." her voice trailed off. "I promise I won't run away..." she concluded.

Enumael nodded, kissing Elise's forehead before drawing back a few inches and closing his eyes. In an instant he was no longer Norman, the man she knew, but a distant figure, with wings of ashen grey, wreathed in darkness. His eyes glowed brightly and he exhuded an aura of palpable supernatural energies. Dispite all that, his form was still very male as Elise could feel his manhood against her body.
