Hey Moderators and everybody....just trying to figure out how to delete a thread (which I started)....I've read the instructions about deleting the first message in thread etc., however, when I attempt to, I continually receive the message below disallowing me to proceed:
__________

You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
If you have recently changed the email address in your profile, or if you are newly registered for the site, then you must click on the confirmation link in the email that was sent to the address you have on file before you can post. If you need the email to be re-sent to you, please click here.
You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules.
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
________

This message is strange to me since my account has been active for some time. Also, I've already tried having a new account number sent, but to no avail. Any suggestions?....

Thanks in advance, PR

Only Mods and Laurel and Manu have this option. You may delete the initial post, but after that you're more or less screwed. You may wish to write Laurel and ask her.

You can edit the words from your post, you can't delete the post.

So if you want to edit that is the only way to to do it.
Make sure you were not quoted on the thread, or you look like an idiot for removing the lead post of the thread.

You PM/email me and I do it for you :)

Don't be bothering Laurel or Manu with requests for deleting, that's what the Mod's are for.
