Deleting comments

I made some comments which were poor and didn't make sense and wanted to know how to delete them?

Go to your home screen - click on the my comments tab - and you should see all the comments you made - each has a delete button next to it.

I think it's better practice to ask the author of the stories to remove them for you, and leave the decision up to them.

I don't know the content of your comments, but I think you might make things worse by first offending an author, and then quickly removing the offending comments. It could come across as a trolling attitude (that's how it would feel like to me). If the author wants to remove them, or if they want to keep them do demonstrate your attitude, it should up to them. For you, you should think before you post.

Why do you assume that the comments were offensive?- they could just as easily be poorly thought out, or even poorly written. Perhaps you should take your own advice and think before you post, and accuse people of trolling?

I am curious -- how what I said was a personal attack? I was merely pointing out that the poster was commenting without any knowledge of the the actual comments made. Nor was I insulting the poster, or calling him (i presume) names. I would welcome a discussion with the moderator concerned regarding this post if he or she would pm me

EDIT - MY Bad - sorry I thought that was aimed at my comment - on re-reading i see that it was at Willtolive - now I understand - since I can't see what will posted - I can;t comment on the warning.
