Deleting a submission - is it possible?

Hi everyone,

I've been scouring the FAQ on the main site and here in the forums, but have been unable to find an answer.

Is it possible to delete a story, an account, or both?

I found the general questions email address, but first I thought I would check here and see if any of you might be able to steer me in the right direction.

You can delete a story by resubmitting the story exactly as you did the first time but without the text. Put delete in the text box and the comment box as well as after the title if possible. It will take the same amount of time to get deleted as it did to post in the first place.

For an account, send a PM to Laurel. E-mails don't work as there is way to much spam to wade through. You can find her name at the top of the AH page next to the Contest sticky. She can help you with deleting an account. You will have to go to all the threads you posted in individually to delete anything you've posted, if you want that much of a cleanup.
