Defining Love

I know that I over analyze things. Like I said, I want to be sure that I don't hurt someone. I'm getting better each day. I just wish I had a crystal ball that says, this is it, or run like hell! I've decided to let whatever happens, happen. Life is too short not to enjoy it. As much as being hurt sucks, I'd rather be able to say I had good times with someone and loved, than to close myself off and be lonely. I'm just taking things as they come and will just have to see what's in store. Gosh, I wish I was Queen of the World!:D (well, that probably wouldn't be a good thing):eek:

* you'd have my Vote!!*

I agree about not shutting yourself off tho and life really is way too short to Not enjoy it and anyways ,I guess ya gotta have a few BAD times in order to really appreciate the good ,just like Sunshine and rain ,each have their purpose:heart:

Thanks, Dream. Happy Monday! Very good thought about appreciating the good. I think it's important, and what has kept me sane (at least somewhat):D

The very bad times do indeed make the good ones taste much more sweet. But they only work this way if you participate in them, if you let the bad wash over you and surround you until it is truly a part of you. Then, when you have accepted it, you can wash it off and move on. It's that clean state that allows you to take such pleasure in the good times.

At least, that's how it has worked for me - though I'm a nut for showers so these getting clean metaphors come to me rather easily. ;)

Someone always has to put fingerprints on the shower door glass. ;)

C'mon, admit it, you would have been disappointed if I had missed it.
What? Have you got something against showers?

Disappointed if you didn't call me on what you perceive to be an inappropriate metaphor - even though I know it's cleanly to the point? Not on your life. ;)

My dear Yankee....it had nothing to do with the quality of your metaphor, I just couldn't resist the chance to make a pun even worse than yours........it's not easy to do, ya know :D

How true. In fact, it was so bad it was unnoticeable. :p

Now, shall I shower you with praise for having outdone me?

GG, you have always been an excellent dance partner in these threads. Your mind and your wisdom serve you well. :rose:

Yank, unless you are speaking in measures of smartass, I have made no wise contributions to your thread today :D

But I thank you for the very lovely compliment

I was thinking of the many fine contributions you've made over the months as well as the times that we have "danced" together here and elsewhere. You are verbally graceful yourself.

Ah, but I was merely following your very graceful lead. I thank you, friend.
