Defining Love

Has anyone read A Course In Miracles ? Its very interesting... I read it many years ago....and yes its time to re-read that one too!!

One of the areas they cover is Levels of Teaching. It talks about relationships as assignments. That they are part of a plan to further our enlightenment and expand love. The plan (God's plan) is that He brings people together who have the greatest opportunity for mutual growth. As though we are assigned to one another, no meeting is accidental, because of the potential for growth.

There are three levels of teaching in realtionships. The first is the casual encounter. A meeting of happenstance. Then there is the second level, where these people enter a more intense, sustained teaching-learning situation but then appear to separate. The third is one that once formed, lasts all our lives.

Each level offers teaching and growth. Each has a purpose. Each can provide enlightenment. Enlightment not meaning a change but as a recognition.

It is a very cool piece of work!

Well, you know, DLL I've posted here tonight some pretty empathic and enervating words. Quite frankly, I think your humorous attitude here is misplaced.

Funny my Mom used to make Custard...but yes it was creamy if you covered the top so the air couldn't get at it.

Actually, my boyhood blond hair was replaced by light brown with a lot of red. I still remember Mary Louise Patterson with sheer hatred though.

On my back? Hmmm.....
