I was reading this and started thinking about the way gay marriages are defined. Most people think that a gay marriage is a same sex marriage I don't quite see it that way. I find it ironic that a man and women can marry and everyone assumes they are both straight and no one questions their orientation. If a gay man married a lesbian no one would question them and people would assume it was a straight marriage but it wouldn't be.
I guess what I'm asking is why are same sex marriages getting so much opposition when bi marriges ( if its a male and a female ) are not ?
