I didn't pick it, it was just offered because every other screen name I tried was not available or taken already so I gave up and settled for the one yahoo suggested.

they took my name = mike
repeated it, with an underscore to seperate
and applied the zipcode (of the area I am in) to the end.

pretty clever huh.....those yahoo people are right on the ball.

Mine is really uncreative.

The "mbb" is my initials. I didn't capitalize them because it isn't that big a deal to me.

I shoot competitively. My target rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester (civilian), or 7.62 NATO (or 7.62x51) in it's miltary configuration. It's really about the same round. I almost picked 762, but typed 308 first.

No imagination required.

never fired it..it was a Christmas present

as a child I used to go shooting with with my father , he was in the Marine Corps, we would go out to the range at Camp Pendleton...those were good days....

I recieved mine nickname of NADED from my former spotter in the U.S. Army, Sgt. Brian E. Thomas (Deceased) after seeing me strike a target in groin with a slug, called out "Oh, you naded him!" and it has since stuck.

I took my son up to the USMC base at Quantico for a clinic put on by the Corps Rifle Team. They loved him - he's fairly big, handsome, broad-shouldered, polite intelligent, and attentive - a joy to coach. He was the youngest one there and was shooting my big ol' 30 caliber. He had a ball, and the team had fun with him, too. No fewer than six of them asked him if he had considered a career in the Marine Corps.

He wants to go to Annapolis and then try his hand in the Corps as brass, after I assured him that the Corps lets the officers shoot, too.

We'll see - we still have nearly three years of high school left. But he's so much more together than I was at that age!!!!

Hate to tell ya, Man, but that would be "Nadded". The "a" goes long with only one consonant behind it like that.
