Dear Laughing,

ThOse bloody men, huh? Though, I do like a bit of chiding. It's like a little flag for me, to know who might be a decent challenge on being able to boob-flash and see if they can remember what they were about to say.

Ah! Gob is slang for mouth.

Signed, the flipping English one :D

Dear Flipping,

I knew what gob was.

As in gobshite, and SHUT YER GOB!!

I'm sure you've never been told that before. Neither have I. *crosses fingers behind my back*

Signed,
Cheeky Bird

Dear Litsters,

Have a smashing Friday.

Or Friday smashes.

Whatever fits.

Ciao!

Same Ole Litster

Dear Litster,

The easy option would be to ignore you.

I very rarely take the easy option.

I told you things that you used against me.

I will endeavor to destroy you.

EW.

Dear Blackmailing Litster,

It sounds like you pissed off the wrong Welshman.

Signed,
I'd Hate to be You

No blackmail, just someone attempting to emotionally rape me.

But they did pick the wrong Welshman.

Dear all Litsters who are fed up with assholes,

I'm probably going to buy myself grief with this, but this kind of crap has been affecting dear friends of mine.

We all use the blank canvas of Literotica to paint our own unique portraits of ourselves: Some reflect generosity and light, many are in between, and fortunately, only a very few expose a dark, selfish landscape of pettiness and anger.

I'm still a Newbie here at Lit, but not on the planet, so my opinions and observations are every bit as valid as anyone who has been here since the beginning (the only difference being that veterans will probably have more people that would readily agree with their views).

There is no blaming Lit for anything (vacating the few complaints I have seen about moderators). Lit is all of us. This is the world we make together. At times it seems like High School: insignificant rivalries, jealousies, perhaps - a place where, whether we like it or not, there are assholes, tormentors and bullies.

But Lit is so much more than that. Aside from a place to wile away time, it is a place where true, deep connections can be forged, a place where we can talk to people we have learned to trust about things that perhaps we don't feel comfortable discussing with the people that populate our 'real life' (and that it's cyber doesn't make it any less real).

The fact that so many people are mentioned in the 'Litsters You Miss' thread speaks volumes about the inherent problems plaguing the 'open forum' concept. Of course, people leave for many reasons.

I'm no cyber-warrior, but it seems that one way to go is to make this place as uncomfortable as possible for the snakes, stalkers and bullies. Yes, there is a rule against what you can reveal from personal PMs: This is it, verbatim:

"4. You may not post personal information of other members or, for that matter, anyone else. We do not allow phone numbers, email addresses, private messages or quotes from private emails to be posted on the forum. This rule also covers real names, employment info, and any other personal information that we deem inappropriate."

To me, this does not mean you are forbidden from publicly shaming anyone who deserves it BY NAME citing paraphrased PM content. Let it be known who is harassing you, towing the line of Rule #4. The common advice is to stay out of it, but if they're already causing you grief, what have you got to lose? I know, a naive thought at best, as there are other ramifications to consider.

I recently saw a post by an extremely respected and revered Litster, wishing that the Playground could be as fun as it used to be. Maybe I wasn't here for those halcyon days, but I think that if we want this wonderful place to flourish, it's up to all of us to refuse to appease or ignore the snakes any longer, but to aspire to be the Churchills of Lit, not the Chamberlains... fight them in fields and in the streets, and of course, the threads.

Yeah, I know... this probably has a pomposity quotient of 8 to 10.

Sorry about the length. I didn't have time to write something shorter.

Dear Litsters,

Good evening.

Sincerely,

Avatar-less Literotican

Dear Lost Litster,

I never know what to say when people lose someone. There are never good words because nothing one can say, ever take away, or lessen the pain. All I can offer, is hugs, and knowledge, that I am here, if you need to talk. I am one message away, any time of day, or night.

Wishing I could hug you now Litster

Dear Sorry for the length,

Just the tip was not a suggestion!! :D:D

Ok, but for real. I agree that a Shame on You Litster thread is a great idea for naming Litsters that ignore requests to be left alone or are overly aggressive. These asshats should be outed for their behavior and it can be done without sharing exact content of a PM.

Dear Shamey,

I almost spit out my soda when I saw your GREAT idea.
Let’s start with a KIK list.
Whaddya think, Ricky?

Be careful what you wish for.

Yeah. Women do deserve respect.

I used to do it all the time with the cunt Ravi/inoraloffice/troubleone...very few people took any notice. Several of us tried with Ronster too...he continued also...so I just gave up and pretty much left them and this place to it...

dear Janeyl,

Wassup?!? Hope England is treating you well.:rose:

Knuckle-dragging mouth-breathers and swamp cunts are going to continue to do whatever it is that they do around here, regardless of anything anyone says, posts. Etc..

A good portion of the Lit community makes a great argument for things like The Purge... just sayin'...

We had an Asshat thread at one time, but I think it simply drew more attention from the aforementioned lobotomy rejects, and failed miserably to dissuade the behavior for which they were called out..

That said, there are some good eggs around here. A few have unfortunately *cracked* up a bit from wear* and tear. :D

I'd rather be in a frittata anyway..

Crushing Dreams,
(jerk!!!)

And then again, sometimes people don’t realize they are hurting anyone.
Because it’s online. And we can’t communicate properly all the time.
I can’t, either. :(

Dear HWSNBN Litster,

I didn't actually want to be Artemis.

I wanted to be Twinkle Bell.

Dear Litster,

I hope you're doing well and that today has been as easy as possible. Things will find a way of getting back to normal and everything will be like it used to be... Oh who am I kidding?

Take care.

Concerned Litster.

Just ignore a person, if you feel they're getting on your nerves. It's online you can't stop people from typing crazy shit. Eventually you'll find out lit is what you make of it. Some people see it as a community etc.etc. In reality it's a erotica site and we make it, what we want to make of it. Besides the few people I have gotten to know personally, lit is just Entertainment. You'll find a lot of disingenuous Listers, posing as good hearted individuals. Our actions determine who we are, not words on line. Don't reveal too much too fast is my advice to you and take your time making friends.

And that is quite excellent advice. (When I saw my subscription notification that I was quoted by 'Soul Assassin', I went 'uh-oh, what's this?':)), but I really do appreciate your thinking...

Very true.

Dear Litster,

I still have a crush on you. Thank you for describing your snow in wonderful detail. I adore you still ....
