Not in a league together by any means, but I always think of their music in the same terms....it's gritty, it's raunchy, it makes me think of sex and I never hear it played on the radio. And I'd pay anything to see them play.

Who do you turn on that really brings out the "bad girl/boy" in you?

Tom Waits. He puts me in the mood to give rose massages.

I left a rose petal trail...nice to see you followed it.

I don't know Tom Waits...I'll look him up on Kazaa

Make sure you go for the smokey, jazz club type earlier recordings.

Which is exactly what I was looking for. *grins*

Give me a song title to start?

I'd almost think you planned that.

Not at all.

Almost was the key.

I got "Fumblin With The Blues"....I couldn't find the one you suggested, but I'm still looking.

Chris Rea - "On the Beach" is his best. I also lurve Lenny Cohen.

Thanks! I'm keeping Kazaa busy tonight.

Leonard Cohen would probably make my top 10 list of artists. "I'm Your Man" is one of my favorites.

Marc Cohn - easily. Sadly, my husband hates him, so it's not like we can listen together. His voice speaks to me.

Of course it has to contend with all the other voices, but it's usually loud enough to drown them out.

Thank GOD! Where have you been??????

Everything took longer to do than expected today. I'm here, my wine is here, Marc is here (see above), and I'm ready to relax.

*ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh*

Started with the nice red, but when that ran out, I switched to the Glenlivet/rocks. Expect many typos. Soon.

Be prepared. I might even giggle.
