Pretty open-ended to give any real story idea here, but a quick one might be where the husband/son got into trouble with the law and needs to post a hefty bail. It could either be a high cash amount which she does not have, or a deed to real estate which happens to be in her father in laws name.
She wants her husband out of jail.
The father in law has always wanted her!
Maybe in her mind she justifies the coupling by it saving her husband from languishing in jail and being something he would agree too, all things considered (his damn freedom).
A plot twist might be, he actually enjoyed Big Bubba in his own right!

Or, husband in jail convinces wife to do the deed with Big Daddy, in order to get released. She hates the idea, but will do anything to free hubby. Big Daddy, knows her predicament, and tells her it will be on the installment plan over a six-week period before he'll post bail. After that, she'll be on a monthly maintenance plan.
It was years ago when I was dating my wife, then for a little while when we were married. I started having fantasies about my dad (48yo dad) fucking my GF turned wife. Both find they really enjoy it and get closer. Some older women take an interest in FIL and this surprisingly makes the DIL jealous. And the story goes on from there.

I like this one a lot. It would be great for a slow burn story. It could take place over a number of dance lessons and practice sessions.
Don't keep it as 'partial'! This one deserves the full treatment.
I can imagine art/painting being an alternative to the ballroom dancing. FIL used to be an avid artist but the muse has deserted him. Active encouragement and assistance from DIL to take up the brushes again. Journeys out together to find interesting subjects. Visits to galleries. Discussions over media and methods. Continuing to an embarrassed-faltering suggestion regarding life drawing with her as the model... leading to interesting positions assumed by the model....
I really like the idea of both being artists or at least into art. Unfortunately, I'm not and don't know anything about art so I don't feel I could give that story justice. I was a fairly active dancer in the day so I am more familiar with it's lingo and the like. I do hope someone takes up that version of the story because it would be hot.
Tentacles aside, FIL-DIL and MIL-SIL are old favourites. They seem to be all the rage in Japan.
Any number of ways in which to get the couple together but a common interest is certainly an obvious vehicle. It strikes me as an interesting challenge for a writer to attempt to arrange a simultaneous imbroglio with F getting involved with son's wife and M with daughter's husband. A bit contrived, granted, and with a three divorce situation very definitely on the cards!

The biggest thing about art is to not overthink it, or try and justify why YOU like a certain piece.
If you like something, buy it. It may not be the original work, it could be a print or scaled down sculpture or something, but if you like something, enjoy it as you can. For instance, I like the Pre-Raphaelite period to my liking, but it is very realistic paintings and kind of like how I like to write; realistic stories. It just kind of is who I am. My wife, she likes the impressionists. Neither one of us is wrong.
But by all means, if you like a certain painting, artist or era of works, never feel you have to explain it. You just do, even if a spouse, parent or friend does not.

You made me fun because my name is Misha, but it’s a man’s name. More precisely, it’s short for Mikhail.
And the husband's father is swecr. O mother of the husband, this is swekrow. But essentially it’s one word, just in Slavic languages (Ukrainian, Russian, Belarusian) its gender depends on the ending of the word.
Wife's father is a test(and I don't know how to write this, but the "T" at the end should be soft)
I've pulled it out and dusted it off. I'll try to get it finished before too long.

I found you cannot really push those partial stories along. They just kind of sit there until one day there is inspiration.
Once I had a partial story sitting on various computers for 22 years before I finally thought of the perfect ending and finished it. And an unpublished, short erotic story I did five years ago, I recently decided to make into a mainstream novel.
I think the key is to reading through them once and awhile so that you think of them and get inspired. You cannot think of improvements to them if you have completely forgotten about them.

Tend to agree. I'm not sure about 'forgetting them' as I visit my (thinks of adequately superior-sounding title) portfolio pretty often... but, certainly, inspiration and 'improvements' for me come not from staring fixedly at the job in hand. They arrive in unexpected ways and from a multitude of sources... which is precisely why I visit this forum.
