DanielQSteele1 a very popular author on this site has passed away. Here is a link to his obituary: DQS obit Should his work be honored by continuing his unfinished stories or should his characters be further developed elsewhere? I don't want to speak out of turn because I don't know proper author etiquette but I would very much appreciate any thoughtful comments.

I would love to see a story contest in the Loving Wives category to remember and celebrate DQS. He will be missed :(

How do you know that obituary is him? It doesn't mention anything about his pen name or Literotica.

It's not a matter of etiquette. The site (and worldwide copyright law) don't allow you to use anyone else's characters and situations without permission, whether or not they're alive (until the 75 year copyright expires), with certain narrow legal exceptions.

He published some of the same stories on both Lit and Amaz*n. On Amaz*n, the author used the name Daniel Quenten Steele and his real name William Marden.
