I was flipping through the plethora of cable channels the other day and stopped short on some MTV summer whatever you call it. The ladies dancing looked sooooo good I just stayed glued to the set. Then some moron had to go and ruin it by showing some guys dancing!
Am I alone here or are women the only ones who should be allowed to dance?
When I go out I know better. I do not go out on the floor because I am afraid someone will inevitably say "The seniors center is that way Pops," or "We called the ambulance and they said to hold your tongue through your whole epeleptic seizure!"
Well, whadda ya' think? Men/women dancing, which looks better?

I will answer the question first, WOMEN LOOK BETTER DANCING!
However, I must add, I have always been considered a very good dancer(Shut up Ms. Snappy)! Men can dance but women who can dance, well, look fabulous darling! I recently attended my daughter's recital and while most were young girls, there were some boys who actually had talent.

As far as the show you mentioned, I don't wait for it to come on or tape it but if I am flipping through the channels and see it on, I STOP DEAD IN MY TRACKS!
Men are simple creatures. :D

I much prefer ethnic dancing styles. I have a very good friend who italian dances and he is pure poetry in motion..
I cried when I saw his touching and sensitive presentation.

I sincerely think when it is two people dancing together, having fun and laughing. Now that is beautiful!!!!!!!!!

I love to dance, but I've never been any good at it. As a young man, I found that dancing was the only way I could get near a girl without suffering near terminal shyness. As an excuse to actually hold a girl in your arms, dancing can't be beat, but most dancing today is too fast and violent for that. How do people go through a courtship ritual while headbanging?

I guess it all depends on what kind of dancing that you are talking about...for me i would prefer some muscular man in a g string dancing up on a stage...shit i guess if he was really nice looking in his skimpy outfit, it wouldn't matter how he was dancing

Sure they do.

Boy: Wanna fuck?
Girl: Nothing else planned, okay.

or if online or on phone:

Boy: what size are your tits?
Girl: 44EEE
Boy: Cool, lets fuck
girl: nothing else planned, okay.

LOL @ Merelan! I was thinking along those lines, but things usually don't come off very well when I say them!

Thank you. someone else is usually quicker to the "punch" but it is true. Listen to the kids someday. Hear the way they treat each other.

Tell me about it Merelan. I work with teenagers.

Any time I go dancing it's usually at 1:00 AM in a seriously packed underground club. Everyone is high, the lights are strobing, bodies are packed tight together, drenched with sweat and the smell of sex.......Whew! Sorry! My mind was wondering.....

Oh? What was it wondering? Ohh, you meant wandering, didn't you? Or did you? Hmmm.

*Another meaningless post in an attempt to reach 100*

Depends on who is watching!

In my opinion, I'd much rather watch a man dance, especially one who dances well. But I'm a heterosexual woman so maybe that's obvious.

However, perhaps the kind of dancing that I like to watch most is to watch a couple slow dancing. You know, when they are hardly moving and it's like they haven't even a clue that there is music playing? Damn that just makes me melt. Trance-like really.
