This week has been one from hell, I’m sunburned to the point of blistering and being in constant pain, my job is forcing me to transfer departments back to the position I quit two years ago and if I refuse I’ll get canned, they also decided to write me up for bogus crap

I just want to be able to have a Daddy to curl up on and play with his beard while he strokes my hair and helps me figure out how to survive the next 5 weeks

Is going back to that position only for 5 weeks? They've done this to you before! UGH!!!

A stark contrast to the dribble of the ad you posted earlier bfg! while no doubt some lean towards that kind of degradation (though I certainly hope not to that extreme!) a DD is something so radically different. Often though it can't really be put to words, as ultimately each relationship has its own dynamic and Daddy qualities vary - they also evolve over time as littles themselves do.

But this captures so much of the sentiment. I particularly like: "there is nothing more satisfying to Him than to see her succeed, to see her happy..."

If the contrast helps just one little/mittle/sub...then, it's worth it!

Taking time to get to know someone on any type of relationship is important. Talking...asking questions...sharing details.. If any part of it leaves you uncomfortable, whatever side of the slash you're on, then don't move forward.

As said elsewhere - that isn't always so easy. Sometimes one can be duped, seduced into something or, what probably happens more often is that one is pursuing a type rather than a person - that is, they are seeking out a "Daddy" rather than the person who is fulfilling that role. When we latch onto the label it becomes too easy to lose sight of the person and find one's self ignoring the red flags...

I said I would share a pic of my Tiger if I ran onto him. As you can see, he's well loved and a little worse for wear (I had to re-stuff him a few years ago because he had gotten so skinny he couldn't sit up) but he's in great shape for having 58 birthday parties.

I think most of us have been naive a time or two or more! I think it's why I harp about red flags so many times. It's always good to be cautious...to take our time. We are trusting someone with valuable cargo....US!

Not necessarily. No Dom is perfect and everyone had failings. One simply can't be dismissive and say "he must not be a Dom, then"... or worse, a TRUE DOM.

Sometimes you can misread the situation, an honest mistake, however, I do acknowledge E-D218 there must be care and caution in respect to a Dom abusing the trust and confidence a sub, a Daddy's girl puts with him. I have mentioned on other threads, some so called Dom's use BDSM as a cloak to abuse a partner. That is not a true D/s or Daddy/little girl relationship or dynamic.

I hope E_D218 you find another that provides the right environment you are comfortable in.
