How many folks here pay or played Role Plaing Games (D&D/AD&D, etc)? Just curious.

PLay D&D, Cyberpunk, D20 Modern, Vampire, Mage, Gurps, Ars Magica and will try others when I have the chance.

AD&D and TMNT in high school. My best friend was ga ga over an RPGer, and I had to play so she could drag someone along to game nights and flirt with him. I enjoyed creating characters more than playing, but I did enjoy an episode where I beat a sea monster by catapoulting flaming giraffes at it. The Dungeon Master was displeased with my unorthodox style, though, and kicked me out.

I have played almost every system and I prfer GURPS hands down. Most flexible and no time period constraints. You can be anything from a cave man to Capt. Kirk.

World of Darkness, D&D, and just started playing Call of Cthulhu.

almost all RPG on playstation, and super nintendo around the years 1995-1998. From then was The Realm, EverQuest, Anarcy Online, Ultima Online, Dark Ages of Camelot, somehting else online.. They made 2 versions of it. The game sucked. Shadowbane, ummmm.. I will add to this if i remeber

Never played an D&D...

But I have a PLaystation1, and Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story have yet to be played...

D&D

I played D&D but havent in a while, then the other week my kids found the monster manuals and the dice and want to play.

I was a hard core D&d and AD&D player in high school. I remember many trips up to Lake Geneva where TSR started. They used to have a store in the downtown area that was heaven to me.

Go ahead, call me a geek. :D :D :p :D :D

Oh yeah, forgot to add....I still have all the old original manuals buried away somewhere in my parents basement. I should dig them up....might be worth some money on ebay.

Nope, never, not once.

Hey, did I mention I run an online game based heavily on AD&D? :p

I'd select the top two. D&D as well as other tabletop, plus if you want to be technical, vid games, and as gilly mentioned, we run a MUD that's fantasy-based RP. ;)

I have all the original manuals too, including Dieties and Demigods- TSR got into some copywrite problems and pulled that one after a short time.

Well, basically, the game is thousands of 'rooms' big. What happens behind closed doors is fine, but overall, the game is rated PG, because we have players as young as 12 and 13 who play it, and as old as their late 40's.

We'd rather cater to everyone, than just a select few. Especially since MUDding is a dying game form with all the new graphical places like Evercrack.

Used to play D&D & AD&D a while back. Dont do that anymore. These days it is Vampire - The Masquarade (V-TM for geeks lol) And whatever RPG I am in on the different boards I frequent. (Currently: Serial Killers)
