Cussing & Discussing Robert Heinlein's Works

Hey, maybe Robert Heinlein was the infamous "Robert" of "Robert's Rules of Order". LOL

Because as it so happened, many of sci-fic fans also like or loves comics and one things I would like to do is to translate Heinlein to comic books to make up for the crap we see in the movies!

Why don't you get together with Timothy Truman, Lancaster PA? He co-created "Grimjack", created "Scout", and wrote/drew/edited numerous other comic works. The two of you could do some great work together. I'm already a fan, and you haven't even done the first page!

First things first. I only have two arms not eight. But think what i can do with eight arms and hands on my sweet friend Connie. She'll think she died and went to seventh heaven as I take care of her pussy, ass, breasts and other parts.

Just like your "Octopus" picture!

MMMmmm!!!

That brings a completely unrelated thought to my mind. Wasn't "Octopussy" the dirtiest name ever for a James Bond film?!

(Yes, I know, Sly. This belongs on yet another thread. But I DON'T CARE!!!)

Yeah it is! Wonder how Bond and Long would hit off if they meet?

LOL... I don't care either, Sweetie... "Octopussy" was my all time favorite Bond movie and I only went to see it because of the title :p Just imagine a pussy with eight arms - I'd be in "seventh heaven" :p

I always thought of it as a girl with eight pussies. That could be fun, too!!!

I preferred the Sean Connery Bond films to the others, but I have this "thing" for Sean! He gets me "moist"!!

Actually I think Lazarus would tear "Jimmy Boy" a new asshole... And he'd certainly outlive him - I don't care how many "reincarnations" 007 managed to pull off...

Today's Heinlein contribution:

From “Time Enough For Love” by Robert A. Heinlein © 1973 All rights reserved.

"Cheops' Law: Nothing ever gets built on schedule or within budget."

Yeah... Just ask NASA...

"It is better to copulate than never."

How can there be any legitimate argument to that statement??? 'Course I think most people in New England might dispute it rather vociferously...

"All societies are based on rules to protect pregnant women and young children. All else is surplusage, excrescence, adornment, luxury, or folly which can - and must - be dumped in emergency to preserve this prime function. As racial survival is the only universal morality, no other basic is possible. Attempts to formulate a "perfect society" on any foundation other than "Women and children first!" is not only witless, it is automatically genocidal. Nevertheless, starry-eyed idealists (all of them male) have tried endlessly - and no doubt will keep on trying.

Hell, for the longest time I thought all girls had a least eight pussies. Nobody could ever say "it's just the same ol' thing" now could they???

And I definitely agree with you about Sean Connery... If I was of the "female persuasion" I'd probably get more than just a little "moist" myself...:D

Dear Tigerjen (she of the "Literotica Cafe", a great thread to meet new people) has a thing for Anthony Hopkins. I have a similar thing for Sean Connery. He is one of the sexiest men alive. Just hearing his voice makes me melt. And his eyes. His beard. EVERYTHING about him!!!

If you don't know tigerjen, go to the cafe and tell her I sent you. She'll set you up with the beverage of your choice and some nice conversation.

In fact with your AV, you might even get a tour of the backroom. LOL

But which is which?!?!?!

I'd like to have a bi fling with Drew Barrymore. She is both wild and sweet.

Marriage

I'm currently re-reading (for the umpteenth time) "Time Enough for LOve". Just this morning I read Chapter VII - Variations on a Theme - "Valhalla to Landfall".

Among other subjects, Robert Heinlein writes, and Lazarus Long recalls, of a wedding ceremony that contained:

"a warning that marriage is not easy, not to be entered into lightly, because there would be troubles they must face together, grave troubles that would require the courage of the Cowardly Lion, the wisdom of the Scarecrow, the loving heart of the Tin Woodsman, and the indomitable gallantry of Dorothy."

I LUV that. If, and when, I do get married I want to include such a warning in my ceremony.

Khan-e, I, too, am re-reading "Time Enough.." for at least the "upteenth time". In fact my "ancient" copy (probably purchased a couple of years after it was copyrighted in 1973) is literally falling apart - all the pages have seperated from the binding, so I just ordered another copy for future re-readings...

Here's today's offering:

From “Time Enough For Love” by Robert A. Heinlein © 1973 All rights reserved.

"All men are created unequal."

"Money is a powerful aphrodisiac. But flowers work almost as well."

And I'd have to add chocolate to that list, ala; the French movie "Chocolate"

A brute kills for pleasure. A fool kills from hate."

There is only one way to console a widow. But remember the risk.

Hmmmm... I wonder what "risk" he was referring to??? Any ideas?

"When the need arises - and it does - you must be able to shoot your own dog. Don't farm it out - that doesn't make it nicer, it makes it worse."

I only did that once! Never again... Ever since then, I've had the vet put my beloved pet to sleep while I held them in my arms. I still cry just as hard and just as long but never again will I have to see their sad and forgiving eyes just before I pull the trigger.

Mine is falling apart, too. It is one of my favorite books of all time.

Men ARE unequal, despite what Tommy Jefferson may have thought. Each is unique. That is what makes each one interesting. But they are not equal in any ways I measure. LOL

Money is the only true, universal aphrodisiac. But flowers, chocolate, jewelry, lingerie, or even a nice candlelit diner can work wonders with me.
