Seems fine? What does that even mean? You can't tell if someone has herpes or is HIV positive or a lot of other things just by looking or by taking her word for it.

A lot of men who cheat get caught by bringing home some disease for their wife to catch. You take that risk if you go through with it, among other risks.

first off, I don't recommend affairs. If your wife has given you permission, and you find someone you want, you could negotiate the dental damn first, letting the person know you want safe sex in every way. If they're smart, they'll see that it's safer for THEM, too, if you're using one.

if it's one person and you plan on having this affair for a long time, I might recommend going to a clinic and each getting a check up to find out if you're STI free - that eliminates the need for protection from disease... so long as you're being faithful to each other...within the limits of your affair... if that makes sense.

However I have an addendum, if your going to find someone else, get your wife involved, a couple swap is one fun idea, or a threesome, that way if she has something you both get it and she can't blame you for it.

Now if your thinking about this because your not getting enough sex, perhaps you should work on your sex practices so your wife is begging you to do her instead of looking for another woman, since if you suck in bed, you won't be able to keep anyone else AND you will find yourself single because you cheated on her, don't forget, it NEVER stays a secret.
