You must be very timid if requiring people to pass a minimal exam in order to legally drive a car seems dangerous to you.

You don't actually have to drive in CT, or anywhere else. Obtaining a license and operating a motor vehicle is purely optional.

Handing out? So these people can just write a letter to the DMV and in 7-10 business days they'll get a license? Wow, so all the bullshit I had to go through here in NY, the 3-hour class, the hundreds hours of having one of my parents in the car with me, the going to the DMV and waiting in line to take a test, then to schedule a road test, I didn't have to do it. All I had to do was write a letter requesting a license?

Landslider is under the assumption that they weren't driving before they received the cards. Drunk drivers, distracted drivers, and road rage are my concern when I drive, not if some driver might be a licensed illegal alien.
