Here is what I find really hypocritical about people like you, RED:
You decry the downtrodden, the homeless, the unemployed, the man who is under the heel of the evil capitalist, but tell me when was the last time you DID anything for them?.

We all have different roles in life...

The Salvation Army spreads good cheer and practical help and REDWAVE raises peoples' awareness to the plight of the workers...

If everyone became a social worker you'd only be leaving the door wide open for the powers that be to run roughshod over people whilst charitable organisation would be able to do nothing but keep plugging the holes in the dam...

People like REDWAVE are needed to ensure that the smugness and complacency of the Right doesn't become Society's norm...

Private charity will never be anywhere near adequate to meet the need which exists. Only government social programs can do that.
