I generally don't jump into a thread that holds no interest for me, but what happens when I'm intrigued by a subject, post a reply, only to find out it wasn't up to the thread-starters standards?

Does this mean I'm not Lit material? Should I leave based on the fact that a certain group doesn't like me or my opinions?
