The Coronavirus outbreak has just helped illustrate the sheer amount of cunts this country contains. It seems to be broken down as follows:

People that think we should be on lockdown = Overreacting cunts

People buying 200 bog rolls and 3 litres of hand sanitizer = brain-dead, selfish cunts

People fighting over toilet roll in Asda = cunts that nature is trying to kill off before they breed when it send these viruses.

People that then sell the sanitizer on eBay for £30 a bottle = Greedy cunts

'stupid cunts' that buy the hand sanitiser at £30 from the greedy cunts on eBay

People wearing facemasks on the bus = Paranoid cunts

People who think Coronavirus is caused by 5G = Tinfoil hat cunts

People thinking schools should be closed = Unemployed cunts

People that just wash their hands and don't worry too much because it'll all calm down in a few months = Clever cunts

The government = Cunty cunt cunts

People going to the doctor's with cold symptoms even though they've been told not to = Total fucking cunts

I despair at the cuntiness of the people I have to share this country with. Chill your beans wash your fucking hands and stop stockpiling shit like the world is ending. If the virus is as deadly as you seem to think then no amount of Andrex and dried Penne pasta is going to save you.

personally, i think there's more to it than just washing your hands--though that'll go a long way towards helping

the thinking now is not so much containment, as you know, but flattening the curve so as not to overload an already stretched national health system, which'll help make sure ventilators and beds are available for all who need it: if (on top of the flu season), resources are taken up by those sick with the virus all in one big lump, everyday emergencies will be in trouble and operations people have already waited months for (in some cases) will be put off as there'll beno room to process them.

I agree that all the coronavirus hype has exposed a lot of assholes. But calling them cunts is putting cunts in a bad light. Cunts are wonderful. The people you describe don't deserve to be elevated to cunt status.

They could also be called "Dick heads" but dicks are also wonderful and again these mindless fools don't deserve to be elevated to Dick status.

So if we want a body part to describe their behavior I think assholes is a better choice.

The care home my mum is in went on lockdown last night. I get it, if it got in there they'd be wiped out. The trouble is with dementia she won't understand why I'm not visiting.

shame you can't skype with her in there. i'm sure there are a lot of people in a similar boat, and it doesn't even begin to take into account those with issues like autism. let's hope something sensible can be worked out for these kinds of cases. i believe over here (in the hotspots) where they've shut down visiting for care homes and hospitals, there are exceptions for end-of-life situations... think they're setting aside a specific room/rooms for very limited access and easier disinfecting in order to protect everyone involved.

is it feasible for your mum to receive letters or phone calls? i was thinking a letter since (depending on her dementia) it might serve as a daily reminder to read your words as to why you can't visit in person. How about face-time set up on a phone for her where you could call her and face-to-face?

A few friends suggested face time but I don't think she'd grasp it, I show her stuff on my mobile and she's confused. I will speak to her on the phone but she's as deaf as a doorknob now.

i wonder if the care home could set up skype on their computers and allow relatives to speak or 'e-visit' that way. might be worth asking them and it'd probably help a number of their guests.

i tried similar at ALDI this morning cunts had been queueing since 9.15 for a 10.00 opening, looked at it and thought, fuck that the cats can fend for themselves, was then dispatched to look at other stores! ALDI Ashton had quues longer than the store!
